First Lady - Kathy Dianne Johnson
Mrs. Johnson is the
wife of Reverend Henry L. Johnson, III.
They have four adult children, Blandon (Pamela), twins
Matthew (Cortney), Pastor Mark Sr. (Heather) Johnson and
daughter Annetta Hatch, one foster daughter Lillian
Watson. The grandparents of seven grandchildren,
Langston, and Maya Hatch, Mark Jr. Jonathan, Victoria,
Benjamin and Matthew Jr.; three foster grandchildren,
VanMika Love, Vernon and Vincent Watson. She and Pastor
Henry L. Johnson, III have been married for 47 years.
Mrs. Johnson is the First Lady and a member of the Union
Grove Baptist Church, where her husband serves as pastor.
Mrs. Johnson is the Director of the Youth Department, Puppet Ministry, Mime Ministry, Women of Grace Dance Ministry and a member of the Sign Language Ministry (having a grand-daughter born deaf, she has a real passion for the sign language ministry) Mrs. Johnson is also a member of Signs of Christmas (a group that signs Christmas Carols for the deaf and hard of hearing community). Mrs. Johnson attends and teaches noon day bible study, prayer meetings and Sunday School.
Mrs. Johnson is the President of the Ohio Association of Ministers 'Wives and Ministers' Widows, Inc. There are ten local chapters throughout the state of Ohio, made up of ministers' wives of different denominations, held together by a common thread of sisterhood. The Ohio Association of Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows are affiliated with the International Association of Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows from across the country including Bermuda, Bahamas, Guyana, South America, Haiti and Puerto Rico. Mrs. Johnson is an active member of said organizations.
In 2007 Mrs. Johnson was awarded the distinguish award as Minister's Wife of the Year by the state of Ohio Association Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows, Inc. and in 2015 she was awarded the Muriel J. Providence Achievement Award of Committed Christian Service by the International Association of Minister's Wives and Minister's Widow, Inc. Dr. Beverly W. Glover, International President.
Mrs. Johnson accepted Christ at an early age and was baptize at the Anderson Zion Baptist Church in Anderson, Indiana.
Mrs. Johnson motto, "If I can help somebody as I past this way then my living shall not be in vain". Favorite book in the bible is Ruth, Favorite Scripture Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me". Favorite hymn, "Blessed Assurance".
